Sciagnalem gre ze STEAM (legal czyli powinno byc bezproblemow).
Nazywa sie Sleeping dogs.
Niestety po kliknieciu w ikone exe, czy tez na kazdy inny sposob aby odpalic (z folderu na dysku, przez steam) nic sie nie dzieje.
Jaki moze byc powod ze program sie nie uruchamia. Skoro jest to gra ktora mozna sciagnac w kazdej chwili z oficjanlnych serwerow valve tzn. ze musi dzialac wiec problem jest chyba u mnie.

zobacz także czy masz odpaloną gre w procesach systemu
spróbuj poszukac na forach steama rozwiązania, bo z tego co widze duzo ludzi ma ten problem, wiec i pewnie jest kilka sposobow

It's because Steam isn't automatically installing Directx along with the game as it should - well for some of us at least.
I had the exact same problem, and there's an easy fix.
Go to your steam directory, and load this file:
It's the compiled Directx installer for your game, and once the installer is run, your game should then... run.
Zendako put me onto this solution, I've quoted a slightly edited version of his original post below.

Run the installation, it should install all needed DX files for the game to work.
(at least it did in my case)
